EXTENDED OPENING HOURS
To accommodate those who find it difficult to get to the practice in the day, the practice will be open on a Monday and Wednesday evening for GP appointments only. No other service will be available. From 1.12.08 this service will move from Stourbridge to Wollaston Surgery.
The core opening hours of the practice remain 8am to 6.30pm and the out of hours service remains in operation outside of these hours. The telephones will be on answerphone during the evenings as usual.
REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS REQUESTS - NEW SERVICE FROM 1.4.08
As an additional service you may email your repeat prescription request to: 3VMP.prescriptions@dudley.nhs.uk You will need to include your FULL name and date of birth. Please list for EACH item you require - medication/product name, type (tablets/syrup/cream, etc), strength, dose, code, etc. NOTE: The email facility is only available to patients who normally use the Stourbridge Surgery for repeat prescriptions.
Please allow 48 hours for the doctor to check and sign your prescription. If you wish your prescription to be posted please provide a stamped addressed envelope. If you wish to use a chemist’s services, you must make these arrangements yourself with the chemist of your choice. We do not accept repeat prescription requests by telephone.
August 2008 – Following public consultation a decision has been made to keep Wollaston surgery open.
